Weekly Update – January 15, 2018
We got a response to our letter from PennDot!
We did get a response from PennDot concerning Weaversville Road. We are happy to report that PennDot will be posting signs prohibiting trucks over 102” from traveling on Weaversville Road. The hard part will be figuring out if there is a way to enforce this ban. We hope to work with East Allen Township and all concerned parties to explore our options. Read the letter below :
LVPC Will Be Conducting a Transportation Study!
“The purpose of the study will be to produce a plan for measured growth and improvements before demand outstrips the local infrastructure’s ability to handle it, while considering the impact it will have on local residents and businesses.”

- Lot 4 & 5 (Allen Twp. Willbrooke Rd)
- Vertex Warehouse (East Allen Twp. Airport Rd/329)
- Jaindl/Watson 6 Warehouses (Allen Twp. Seemsville Rd)
- Liberty Property Warehouses (Allen Twp. 329 Next to Ace Hardware)
- Willowbrooke development condos/houses, (Allen Twp. Next to golf course)
- Toll Brothers 55+ community (East Allen Twp. Rt.512)

- Rockefeller 155 acres under appeal (East Allen Twp. Weaversville Rd)
East Allen Comprehensive Plan Will Soon Be Online!
We would like to thank Ms. Seiple and East Allen Township for their cooperation and willingness to expand their digital files on their website. They are currently working with Hanover Engineering Associates to put a copy of the Comprehensive Plan that was approved in 2016 in PDF form so it can be posted online.
We look forward to seeing more transparency with electronic files and data made readily available to the public at meetings, on the website and through emails. Read the email here:
