C.A.R.D. LETTER TO PENNDOT
Citizens for Accountability & Responsible Development, East Allen C.A.R.D., recently wrote the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation in regards to the added tractor trailer trucks and safety concerns on Weaversville Road. Copies were sent to East Allen, Allen and Hanover (Lehigh) Townships, Lehigh Valley Planning Commission, PA State Police, Rep. Marcia Hahn and Senator Mario Scavello.
We addressed oversize tractor trailers using this road, the rate of speed through the “S” turns while crossing the double yellow lines, the use of jake brakes through the turns, speeding and congestion. We hope to get a response and will keep you updated. Read the full letter below.
